Fiber leads the way in the fixed market, with AT&T Fiber demonstrating strong performance and hailed as the fastest and most consistent fixed internet service provider in Ookla’s latest Speedtest Connectivity Report.

AT&T Fiber led the fixed ISP market with a Speed Score of 360.85, 34% faster than the nearest competitor. Moreover, AT&T Fiber recorded the best fixed network Consistency Score in the US at 95.2%, managing to meet or exceed the threshold of 25 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload throughput.

These achievements highlight the telco’s leadership and commitment to delivering unmatched speed and reliability through cutting-edge fiber technology. “Everything we do is with the customer in mind and this recognition validates our efforts directly from those we serve,” said AT&T in a statement.

Based on consumer sentiment, AT&T Fiber was ranked as America’s top-rated internet provider during Q1-Q2 2024.

“We’ve invested at the top of our industry to build the nation’s largest fiber network, providing customers with the fastest internet speeds, great reliability and the best overall customer experience,” said John Stankey, Chief Executive Officer of AT&T. 

AT&T Fiber is already available at more households than any other fiber provider, and is on track to pass 30 million-plus consumer and business locations with fiber by the end of 2025.
