GSMA MWC Las Vegas, in partnership with CTIA, will open its doors on September 28th at the Las Vegas Convention Center’s (LVCC) new West Hall. With few days left, GSMA shares the latest news about the North American edition of the MWC Series.
Business leaders and policymakers will share insights and discuss industry developments in a packed agenda across three days. With a focus on the event theme of “Connectivity Unleashed,” MWC Las Vegas 2022 brings together the digital ecosystem with more than 200 expert speakers, over 300 companies across the exhibition halls, and 50-plus hours of curated content.
Taking to the stage, we will hear from industry leaders including Verizon Consumer Group’s Chief Operating Officer, Krista Bourne and Verizon’s Chief Content Officer, Erin McPherson; AT&T’s EVP, GM, Partnerships & 5G Ecosystem & CTIA’s Chairman, David Christopher; NTT Group EVP, New Ventures & Innovation, Shahid Ahmed; and President of T-Mobile Business Group, Callie Field.

Industry City at MWC Las Vegas
Supported by Industry City 5G Showcase partner, NTT, and following a successful launch at MWC Barcelona 2022, Industry City will be introduced to MWC Las Vegas this year. This content, networking and demo zone will showcase how vertical industries are building a connected and digital future. In addition to metaverse/web 3.0, Industry City will focus on the manufacturing, smart mobility and fintech sectors. The GSMA Pavilion, next to Industry City, will feature live demos including Power IoT, VR shopping and connected smart mobility.
Introducing The HUB at MWC Las Vegas
The HUB is the startup and innovation zone at MWC Las Vegas where investors and companies can learn, connect and launch new business ventures. Developed in partnership with StartUp Vegas, whose mission is to boost startup culture and create an environment of entrepreneurship in Las Vegas, the HUB will feature content sessions, fireside chats and LevelUps, StartUp Vegas’ pitch event for founders. From the HUB Stage, founders can pitch to a panel of venture capitalists. Exhibiting in the HUB and taking part in the startup program are sixteen start-ups selected by Mobile World Capital Barcelona, the public-private initiative that promotes the digital development of society and helps improve people’s lives globally.
Expert summits, thought leadership and policy tracks
Expert GSMA summits at MWC Las Vegas would highlight topics of mmWave, eSim and the Open RAN. In addition, attendees have the opportunity to hear from industry leaders in partner program sessions from MITRE, NIPA, OnGo Alliance, The Besen Group, T-Mobile, TNS, Verizon, and Wiliot.
At its “Everything Policy” track, CTIA will host discussions with policymakers and key wireless industry stakeholders focusing on trends and developments in government and public policy.
