TELUS selected DZS Cloud for network service orchestration, slice management, and software automation. The DZS Cloud End-to-End Orchestration and Automation (E2EO) is an open, modularized, and cloud-native software orchestration platform designed to simplify the development and deployment of end-to-end-services, networking, and use-cases on any cloud.

TELUS’ digital transformation across 5G and broadband services will get a boost from DZS Cloud. As a matter of fact, the powerful DZS Cloud platform will enable the Canadian communications provider to deliver agile and automated life cycle management of virtual applications and services, as well as unlock operational cost savings. This can be done by reducing manual application management across TELUS data clouds.

DZS Cloud E2EO is designed to simplify the development and deployment of end-to-end-services, networking, and use cases on any cloud, may it be public, private, hybrid, or edge. These include 5G network slicing feature packs, FTTx network orchestration, OpenRAN or vRAN VNFs and CNFs, enterprise-oriented universal customer premises equipment (uCPE), and SD-WAN solutions.
As DZS Cloud is only recently launched in March 2021 after DZS’ acquisition of RIFT, Gedeon added that they are excited to move from the trial of the DZS Cloud E2EO platform to commercial deployment. According to him, this will be “driving virtualization, simplifying management across our network, and equipping our users with better self-serve options.”
