Verizon secured the top spot in the telecommunications sector on the 2025 Fortune World's Most Admired Companies list, driven by a year of transformative growth and innovation.
In 2024, the company introduced a revamped brand identity, launched game-changing products like myPlan, myHome and Verizon Business Complete, and set new records in network speed and fixed wireless expansion.
Key milestones included achieving download speeds exceeding 5.5 Gbps in real-world 5G tests, expanding fixed wireless access (FWA) to over 3 million customers, and offering exclusive, once-in-a-lifetime experiences like NFL 5G multi-view streaming.
These advancements translated into a strong financial performance, with Q4 2024 revenue increasing 1.6% YoY to $35.70 billion and wireless service revenue growing 3.1% to USD 20 billion. Beyond the numbers, Verizon reinforced its core values of integrity and responsibility, creating a culture that combines innovation with customer trust.

Within Verizon Partner Solutions, a positive correlation was identified between employee engagement and net promoter score (NPS). “Customers are telling us that they like the positive interactions they're having with our team members. If we get this upskilling journey right, you also improve your customer experience, which is ultimately what we want to do,” explained Jennifer Parkhill, Senior Director, Project Management & Strategy Execution at Verizon Partner Solutions.
With all eyes on AI now, Verizon also recently introduced its expanded AI strategy built for hyperscalers, cloud providers and global enterprises. Verizon AI Connect is a strategy and suite of products and solutions designed to manage AI resource-intensive workloads at scale, with Google Cloud and Meta among its early adopters.
