Arelion has deployed a fully diverse Point-of-Presence (PoP) that boosts the business growth in South Florida's regional edge markets by providing Arelion's full portfolio of IP and optical transport services to wholesale and enterprise customers.

This network expansion signifies Arelion's sustained commitment to investing in the Florida region. By enhancing the connectivity ecosystem in this particular area, Arelion aims to provide support for customers engaged in cloud services, media, and the development of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) applications within Florida's emerging technology hubs.

Arelion's PoP provides customers with exceptionally scalable multi-terabit capacity and a range of low-latency services, strengthening Flexential's ability to meet the connectivity needs of emerging AI/ML workloads.

"Arelion's new PoP at Flexential's Tampa North site reinforces our investment in the Florida peninsula, helping us provide reliable connectivity at scale to enterprise and wholesale customers for continued technological innovation," said Art Kazmierczak, Director of Strategic Sales and Network Development at Arelion.

Arelion's new PoP in the region bolsters its Florida presence, complementing recent efforts with Telxius to enhance connectivity across North and Latin America via landing stations in Boca Raton and Jacksonville.

In this context, Florida's "Silicon Coast" has seen rapid tech growth, notably in Tampa where tech jobs surged by 30% in five years. Nearby, St. Petersburg is also bustling with tech investments, including a USD 20 million innovation center expected to generate 1,200 tech positions.
