ODATA, an Aligned Data Centers company, has announced the launch of its newest data center, DC SP04, in Osasco, São Paulo. Set to begin operations in April 2025, the facility represents a significant milestone in Brazil’s rapidly expanding digital infrastructure landscape.
With a total investment exceeding R$2.6 billion upon completion, DC SP04 will feature an IT capacity of 48MW, spanning 25,000 square meters.
Designed to accommodate diverse client demands, the facility will offer state-of-the-art infrastructure, ensuring high-performance operations and scalability.
As part of its ongoing commitment to efficiency and sustainability, ODATA will introduce the Delta Cube (Delta³) solution at DC SP04, its first deployment in Brazil. This patented, award-winning cooling technology optimizes air management by directly capturing and removing heat at its source, enabling power densities of up to 50kW per rack while significantly reducing energy consumption.
Unlike traditional cooling systems, Delta³ dynamically adapts to fluctuating IT loads, ensuring a highly scalable and efficient data center environment.DC SP04 is expected to strengthen São Paulo’s position as a leading technology hub, particularly in the Osasco region, where data center expansion has been limted. By enhancing IT infrastructure and providing high energy availability, the project will contribute to job creation, attract investment, and further solidify Brazil’s growing prominence in the global data center industry.
Brazil’s Growing Data Center Landscape
Brazil has become a leading force in Latin America’s data center market, driven by increasing cloud adoption, digital transformation, and rising demand for colocation services. São Paulo stands out as a focal point for data center investments due to its strong connectivity, energy infrastructure, and strategic importance for hyperscale providers and enterprises alike.
With companies increasingly prioritizing sustainability and operational efficiency, investments in advanced cooling technologies, like Delta³, are setting new benchmarks in Brazil’s data center sector. As the market continues to expand, developments such as DC SP04 highlight Brazil’s trajectory as a critical digital infrastructure hub in the region.
